Yamaha XJ6

For several months now, the Yamaha XJ6 has been gaining attention from consumers who liked how the naked version of Yamaha XJ6 Diversion looked. The well-structured motorcycle since its first release by Yamaha has persistently escalated in registered sales as well as global recognition. Some people claim the bikes reputation developed from its price range, which was based on performance, as well as specifications.

The XJ6 cost about 8,000, when it was first introduced to the market. One-year after its release, consumers could buy the same bike for 1000 less, which is the same price bracket for most bikes. Yamaha gave consumers the option to purchase additional features, yet it would cost a few hundred dollars more to add the features. Say a customer added the ABS feature to add more safety the consumer would pay around 8,600. Even at 8,000, the XJ6 was a bargain.

Some of the common features included an in-line four-600cc engine, which was placed on the Yamaha XJ6 to offer max performance. Yamaha built the engines to provide top speed to consumers, which the max speed estimated to 135 miles per hour (MPH). The bike offered a 77 BHP power with 44FTLB torque. With all the features attached, the bike still weighed less than 400 pounds. Yamaha presented the lightweight bike to the market with a 17-liter fuel tank capacity.

The bike does not have a front suspension adjuster, and the adjuster for the rear suspension is preloaded. Seat height estimates to 785mm, which enables the rider to firmly keep his feet on the ground when stopped. The bike comes with 12070 in and 16060 17-inch back and front tires. Rear brakes come with 245mm discs, and the front brakes have the 2 x 298mm discs. Yamaha XJ6 motorcycles offer consumers 20mm handlebars with front and back adjusting options.

The motorcycle comes with backrest, engine guard, center stand, top box, panniers or bags on each side, a tank pad, and crash bobbins. Yamaha created the engine as the retune version of the XZ6 model. The engine has the novel cylinder head with forged pistons. Inlet ports in the motor were reshaped by the manufacturer, and the camshaft performs softer. Now riders have a one-piece cylinder block with a crankcase attached.

Yamaha built the XJ6 for beginners, intermediate, and novice riders. Amateur bike riders who prefer new bikes, but cannot afford expensive high-end motorcycles will enjoy the luxury and low price that the X16 offers. Experienced and intermediate riders will enjoy faster speed on an efficient and smart bike that rides swiftly down the highway.

The bike is introduced as the naked version because Yamaha minimized the use of plastic on the body to offer riders a quick body repair if the bike is damaged from brief accidents. Bike riders are advised to choose the crash bungs, which Yamaha designed specifically for the naked version. Crash bungs cost consumers around 150.

Riders and critics alike praise the XJ6 bike for its superb handling. The lightweight bike is responsive, and makes a great source of transportation around town. Riders can also take the bike out on high-speed rides. Yet the bike is not adequately prepared to handle windblasts. Still, Yamaha made the XJ6 with robust construction, and designed it to give riders a superb riding experience. It is one of the most recommended motorcycles.
